Pure Birch hardwood kiln dried logs, including five bags of kindling and three bags of waxlings.

Top quality kiln dried hardwood logs, dried to 12-18% moisture content. These logs are shipped in wooden crates wrapped in plastic, to ensure they arrive with you dry and in perfect condition.

Kindling is locally produced here in Dumfries and Galloway, from kiln-dried softwoods. It comes in a large 6kg net

Waxling Firelighters are unscented wood wool and wax firelighters. One will light a wood-based fire easily and convenienty.

Burning characteristics:

Easy to light, producing a quick and attractive flame. Quicker burning than Oak and great value. Like all logs, these kiln dried logs have great ‘character’ in the fireplace.

Perfect for:

Day to day burning on all but the very smallest of stoves. Great for open fires. Although they don’t burn as long, hot or as economically as our best briquettes they do look attractive and are especially good for the shoulder months, when you don’t need a very hot fire.
